The Willie Eng Legacy Fund

Willie was the founding chair of the Victoria Chinese Commerce Association. For this reason the Board of Directors have recently voted to re-name their existing Camosun College Business School Bursary “The Victoria Chinese Commerce Association’s Willie Eng Bursary”. This Bursary has a base investment that provides, at today’s interest rates, only a portion of the annual $500 award.

It is the goal of the Willie Eng Legacy Fund to build the Base amount so it can generate the entire annual award. The next goal is to feed the Base amount so in the future the amount awarded can exceed the value of the current award. Looking even farther down the road, the fund may provide additional awards to the University of Victoria, School of Business and the Business Program at Royal Road University.

Once these Educational goals are met the Fund would then look to provide funding to the Victoria Chinatown Care Centre.
